He created instagram.com/hacked, a new destination for users to report and fix account access issues.
In this way, users can revive their account
If users are unable to log into their account, they will need to visit instagram.com/hacked on their mobile phone or desktop browser. If they believe they've been hacked, forgot their password, lost access to two-factor authentication, or if their account has been disabled, they'll be able to choose. The platform will then guide them through a series of steps to help them regain access to their accounts.
If someone has multiple accounts linked to their information, they will be able to choose which account needs support.
Instagram is testing new ways to prevent hacking
Instagram said, "We know that losing access to your Instagram account can be stressful, so we want to make sure people have multiple options for getting their account back when they lose access." The company also provides an option to choose two of your Instagram friends to verify your identity and get back into your account.
Additionally, Instagram is testing new ways to prevent hacking on the platform. It will remove accounts that its automated systems find to be malicious, including those that impersonate others and that goes against its Community Guidelines.
